The cost for both LPG and CNG systems varies
depending on the type of fuel system - carburettor, injection or
injection with catalytic exhaust.
It also depends on the type of system that is to be installed:
mixer; injection single-point in the gaseous stage; or the latest
generation multipoint injection with electronic injectors. There may also be slight differences in price depending on the
type of tank installed, for example cylindrical tanks cost less
than toroidal tanks (doughnut shaped). The latter can be placed in
the spare wheel housing thereby saving boot space. |
