Confort - Water Measurements

1. Regulating the Microswitch.

The regulation of the Micro must be made with the tab closed.

Procedure:

  1. Turn the Micro screw until it clicks (in battery-powered models until the sparks appear).

The direction of the turn of the screw to search for this point depends on its position in each case.

  2. Starting from the previous position, give the screw one complete turn anti-clockwise.

To check that the regulation has been performed properly, the following conditions must be fulfilled:

  1. When the water tab is opened, the sparks start appearing.

  2. The burner switches off before closing the tap completely.

2. Regulating the Hydraulic Valve.

Whenever the hydraulic or gas valve is changed it is advisable to perform the following regulation

Proceed as follows:

bullet

Switch on the burner, place the water knob in close selector (1), the gas knob at maximum power (2) and the hot water tap completely open.

bullet

Register the out Temperature (Tª) that is shown in display (3) (in case the model does not have display, measure the Tª in the point of consumption): T1

bullet

Close gradually the hot water tap until reaching a flow of 3 l/min. This point must be always searched by decreasing the flow, never by increasing it.

bullet

Regulate the water valve screw (4) until reaching the same out Tª as the one previously registered.
If Tª < T1 turn screw clockwise
    If Tª > T1 turn screw anti-clockwise

bullet

Once the water valve is regulated, close the hot water tap and reopen it. Make sure that the heater switches on with a flow above 1.8 l/min. and below 2.8 l/min.

Turn the screw gradually, one fourth of turn, and wait for the temperature to stabilize. Repeat the process until reaching T1 (+5ºC).

3. Water Kinetik Pressure.
Measurements:

bullet

Place the pressure gauge under the hot water tap where the measurement is to be performed.

bullet Open another hot water tap in the house so that the pressure is measured in dynamic not static.

4. Water Flows.
Measurements:

bullet

Place the flowmeter under the hot water tap where the measurement is to be performed.

bullet Perform the measurement with Open Selector and Close Selector.

Place the flowmeter in horizontal and straight position, with enough space at the bottom part so that the water can flow.

Eg of laboratory: (Valid values)

Flows: (at 2 bars of pressure of water inlet)
S.C: 4.5 – 5.8 litres/min
S.A: 9.5 – 12.5 litres/min
